Head She Wins

Hollins resident Margaret Barrow was heads above the rest in the Hindley sheltered housing scheme's annual Easter Bonnet contest last week.

Scheme manager Debbie Bullpit organised the competition with help from residents themselves. Entries were judged by representatives from Wigan & Leigh Housing, including area manager Samantha Lloyd's daughter Charlotte.

Local singer Pat Mathews provided the post-match entertainment.
