Hag Fold Have Your Say

Resident of Atherton’s Hag Fold estate can find out what they can do to help improve local life if they turn up to a yearly meeting of their very own community committee.

The Hag Fold Community Committee helps residents to have a say on important issues and works in partnership with them to tackle the problems affecting the estate.

Through the Hag Fold Community Committee people can:

Funded through the Atherton Building Communities Programme, the committee is always looking for new members to offer their skills and expertise.

Training and support is available to all new members.

Now everyone can find out more when the Community Committee holds its AGM on Monday September 25 at the Neighbourhood Co-ordination Centre, Ena Mill at 6.30pm.

Hag Fold Neighbourhood Co-ordinator Elaine Wystawnoha explains:

“The community committee meets every six weeks and based on the advice it receives from local residents, the committee makes recommendations and decisions about local issues.

“If you feel you would like to be involved in making a difference to your neighbourhood, please come along.”
