The future's bright

The borough's best public service apprentices will be unveiled at the Wigan Investment Centre tomorrow evening (Thursday, 27th April).

Wigan & Leigh Housing is holding its annual awards ceremony, with 27 young people nominated across four categories: Customer Service; Achievement; Motivation and Progress & Achievement in NVQ.

Wigan & Leigh Housing Chief Executive, Peter Gee says:

"With record investment in the borough's social housing set to continue, it's vital we have the people in place to deliver the standards of service our customers need and deserve - now and in the future."

Wigan & Leigh Housing's apprentice awards are now in their third year, with young apprentices once again securing full time internal positions.
