As a council tenant, resident or leaseholder (e.g. a customer) in the Wigan Borough, you have opportunities to get involved and influence how the housing service is provided to you.
Wigan & Leigh Housing want you to get involved in a way that suits you. There is a menu of options for you to choose from. These ways are detailed in our Tenants Compact - the Partnership Agreement under the section "Ways you can get involved".
This agreement was put together by a group of customers, staff and councillors and they adopted a slogan "Working together - making a difference". It demonstrates the commitment to increase and develop customer involvement.
In signing the agreement, Leader Peter Smith said,
"Partnerships such as this one are the way forward and it is proof that if we work together we can only succeed".
